The Midnight Trucking Radio Network (MTRN) is pleased to announce that podcasts of its nightly show are now available on Apple iTunes.
“We feel this is a very positive step for our network,” said Mindy Baker, General Sales Manager for MTRN. “Research shows over and over again that truckers are buying fewer satellite radios and opting for MP3 players, and other technologies. MTRN is the #1 content provider for the industry and podcasting on iTunes is yet one more way for our audience to access that content free of charge.”
Ms. Baker added, “We know we have a very loyal base of listeners who are not always able to listen to the show live. Now thanks to cutting-edge on-demand technology, and outlets such as iTunes, our listeners are able to not only tune into missed shows, but they can even sign up on iTunes for a free subscription of our podcast so that past editions of MTRN automatically upload from iTune every time they update their MP3 player.”
The overnight, news/talk program which airs live Midnight-5:00 a.m. CT Monday through Friday on its network of radio station affiliates nationwide will make its Apple iTunes debut July 3rd, and will be available for download free of charge.
